Whistler Summer Activities
Many have heard of the spectacular winter skiing, snowboarding and other winter activities that have earned Whistler “Top North American Ski Resort” status. But did you realize that Whistler has even more visitors in the summer? World class mountain biking, lakes, green forests, warm weather, amazing views, long summer nights and fantastic hiking are just some of the summer offerings in Whistler. We hope these brief highlights will encourage you to consider a summer vacation in Whistler at the Snowflake Cabin in Glacier’s Reach – a prime location for enjoying everything that Whistler’s summer has to offer.
The Valley trail passes right in front of our townhouse and connect much of the Whistler Valley. A short walk along the trail will take you to the entrance to the Lost Lake Trail which ends at magnificent Lost Lake.

Whistler Skateboard and BMX Park:
Five minutes from your Whistler rental at our condo is the Whistler skatepark and BMX park. The park consists of a snake bowl, a street course and a number of vert ramps. There are also dirt BMX jumps nearby.
Golfing Whistler: Whistler is an excellent destination for playing golf. There are three main courses to play:

A little farther up the Valley in Pemberton there are also two excellent golf courses: The Meadows at Pemberton and Big Sky Golf.
Fishing in Whistler: Many of the lakes surrounding Whistler are stocked with trout and provide good fishing opportunities. For a grander experience consider hiring a fishing guide and getting into the remote wilderness – fly fishing, helicopter, float plan or ATV access. Valley Fishing Guides Ltd.
